Vinatex registers 47.9% rise in profit

Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) has registered an impressive 47.9 percent and 19.4 percent increase in profit and its revenues respectively for the January-June period compared to figures of the same period last year.
It must be remembered that Vinatex has been restructured from corporation to group business model which had the approval of the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Among its members, companies like Viet Tien, Nha Be and Det Phong Phu have earned higer profits amounting to 14-15 billion VND (about US $900,000).
Vinatex has advised its affiliates to pay attention to market forecasts, trade promotion activities, after sales service in addition to exploiting domestic markets and hiring high skilled workers to further enhance their business activities.
