KOYONO launches BlackCoat-Tx - fashion activewear t-shirts

KOYONO Inc announces the release of BlackCoat-Tx, a line of fashion activewear t-shirts and tanks designed for carrying personal electronics while wicking moisture away from the body. Devices are entirely hidden when stowed in the shirts. The new shirts will be released to retail and available for sale to the public on August 21, 2005. The tank will retail for $35 and the t-shirt for $45 USD.

These patent pending garments contain two (2) specially designed compartments that are interconnected by a single passageway. A zipper opening is strategically positioned in the center of the passageway allowing easy storage and removal. These shirts represent a completely new design incorporating some of the industrial design features presented in the original BlackCoat-T line of t-shirts that was released in Fall 2004.

The BlackCoat-Tx, like the BlackCoat-T before it, addresses the increasingly difficult problem of safely and conveniently caring mobile devices. With cell phones, music players and PDAs becoming staples for the general public and targets for thieves, device security is a growing concern.

Both formats of the BlackCoat-Tx are made from moisture-wicking, odor-resistant, PowerDry by Polartec. Power Dry® is designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat. This fabric features a patented bi-component knit construction that uses different yarns on either side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly.
