The US Customs and Border Protection announced on September 5 that morethan US $14 million worth of Chinese ready-made clothes have been seized at Savannah port.
Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ) claimed that the importer used fake original place document in order to avoid the quota limit for Chinese textile, going against the US law.
Meanwhile, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement also revealed that CIQ has detained over $16 million worth of fake NIKE shoes, and 62 containers of footwear accessories breaching Intellectual Property Right.
