G&K's GRANTEX acquisition adds quality BU to core rental opts

G&K Services Inc announced the acquisition of the outstanding stock and certain real estate from Grand Rapids Coat & Apron Service Inc (GRANTEX). GRANTEX is a uniform rental and facility services company serving Western Michigan.
"We are pleased to announce the acquisition of GRANTEX," said Richard Marcantonio, G&K's chairman and chief executive officer. "GRANTEX has an excellent reputation for providing premium products and services in its marketplace. We welcome GRANTEX's employees and customers to G&K."
The acquisition adds approximately $5.0 to $6.0 million in annual revenue for G&K and expands G&K's strong North American presence by adding two top one-hundred metropolitan markets. In addition, G&K gains a fully-automated, state-of-the-art processing facility.
