Cabela's Incorporated announced that Lynn P. Ferguson has been named Senior Vice President of Retail Strategy and Real Estate Development, a new position.
In this role, he will report to Dennis Highby, Cabela's President and Chief Executive Officer, and be responsible for Cabela's retail store expansion plans and retail strategy.
"Lynn joins Cabela's with over twenty years of retail experience with premium brands like Tower Records, Schwab, Disney and Hewlett-Packard, having helped in the development of over a thousand retail and demonstration locations worldwide," Highby said.
"I am excited to add Lynn's retail experience, leadership and track record of success to the Cabela's management team."
Ferguson was most recently the Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of National Recreational Properties, a direct-to-consumer real estate and financial company.
He previously served in senior retail and marketing positions with Tower Records, Charles Schwab and Walt Disney. He began his career in retail development with Hewlett-Packard and as the founder of PAC West Design.
