From former Britain Prime Minister Tony Blair to Business magnate Lakshmi Mittal, Raja Daswani has tailored suits for some of the most eminent and esteemed personalities in the world.
Born in India, this millionaire tailor has envisaged opening two of his exclusive outlets in his home country. In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Raja Daswani confirmed saying that “We will be setting up two stores, one in Mumbai and the other in New Delhi by mid 2008. We plan to locate ourselves in the heart of the city.”
When asked about what inspired him to venture for India, Mr Daswani promptly said “It is my passion for fashion and the desire to serve and dress affluent Indian clientele with our global expertise in bespoke clothing that has attracted me to India.”
Presently, Daswani owns and administers the Hong Kong based Raja Fashion that primarily deals with specialization in personalized bespoke suits. Additionally, its presence looms large even in countries like Scotland, Ireland, US, France, Germany and Japan.
Quiet unlike the ready-made suitings that come in standard sizes, Raja Fashions aims to create a distinctive style based on individual preferences. Bespoke suits are tailored to define the personality for each customer.
