Venus Garments bags D & B Top Exporter Award

Ludhiana based Venus Garments (India) Limited, has been awarded with Dun and Bradstreet, ECGC Indian Exporters Excellence Award as Top Exporter in the readymade garments sector under the 'Medium Exporters' Category.
This award has been launched by world famous rating agency Dun and Bradstreet Information Services in association with Export Credit Guarantee Corporation India Ltd, said a company release issued here on Monday.
According to Manoj Vaish, President and CEO - India, Dun & Bradstreet, The D&B-ECGC Indian Exporters Excellence Awards have been launched to recognize achievement and success in a continuing endeavor to provide Indian exporters a global platform to showcase their strengths.
Venus Garments had earlier been honored by the world mass marketing retail giant Wal-Mart with the "Supplier of the Year 2007" award.
The impressive list of export clients of Venus Group of Companies, which has shown an exponential compounded growth of 48 percent over the last three years, include Gap Inc, Wal-Mart, Tom Tailor, The Children's Place, Wal-Mart Mexico, Sam's Club, and Suburbia.
