Flower Sensations in Jackpot Summer Collection

Jan '09
Jackpot launches new collection for summer 2009. It's summer and the flowers are in bloom, not only in gardens and fields, but also all around Jackpot's summer collection. Using Flower Sensations as the theme, chief designer Ann Hage Thomsen has interpreted a vision of Danish flowers and original Jackpot tailoring into a colourful, lightweight, feminine collection for holidays and hot days.

Casual, tailored silhouette
The silhouette of summer is casual and modern allowing tight-fitting and looser pieces to be combined in alluring layers. The classic tunic is trimmer and features more details. For summer parties and days where a bit of formality is needed, try a lightweight linen suit, pants with a slight drape at the higher waist, or skimpy shirts with ruffles and embroidery anglaise detailing.

And of course we have luscious bikinis that can be mixed and matched, floral-print shorts and T-shirt dresses to be worn on their own or with leggings. The lightweight fabrics in the collection – linen, creped cotton, chiffon, silk, cool knits – are perfect for high temperatures and a casual feminine look.

Bold or pastel
Softer pastel shades are used with bold colours like Azure Sea, Lipstick Orange, Mandarin and Laser Pink, all centred around core hues of red and blue. The colours are matched into fresh new combinations in a harmonious expression that you can give an extra spark by adding a scarf or belt from our broad selection.

Time to bloom
Petite floral prints, large bouquets and wildflowers – it's the time when flowers bloom, and you will be seeing them in prints, embroidery and as borders on T-shirts and dresses. Let there be garlands of flowers, or it's possible to mix a catchy flowered top with a pair of faded jeans in a workman stripe. Or, how about a pair of flowered shorts with a shirt-blouse in a single crisp colour.

Days at the beach
The accessories of our summer collection will complement your beach look. Big sunglasses, beach hats and bags. Lively scarves and sarongs. Necklaces with eye-catching stones, and towels to match your new Jackpot bikini.

Organic
Every season, Jackpot is proud to present the latest items stemming from environmentally friendly clothing production. This summer we offer printed or dyed T-shirts, skimpy shirts with fine ruffling, jeans and a slew of finely detailed scarves – all made of organic cotton.
