Vinatex campaigns to promote domestically produced garments

In order to encourage the local people in the country to purchase Made-in-Vietnam garments, a promotional campaign has been launched in the country. The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) has planned to invest VND6 billion in this campaign.
The invested money will also be utilized in goods transport to rural areas, and a distribution network will be developed by the group to carry goods to the remote areas now onwards till the year-end, informed Mr. Vu Duc Giang, Vinatex General Director.
The group recorded a year-on-year revenue growth rate of 17-23 percent in the domestic markets and is striving to increase this figure to 28-30 percent.
