Versatile clothing applications with elastic fibres

The history of elastic has its roots back to the 19th century when man came to know there were certain objects that would spring back to their original shape when the pressure applied on them was removed. With the passage of time, man realized that these strings of elastic could also be used as weapons.
Elastic is used in clothing as well mostly for fitting reasons. They are used in pants, trousers, which are in smaller size than the wearer's waist, and therefore giving a slimmer appearance. They are also used for chest fitted gowns or shirts.
Elastic fibres are used as an accessory to make several designs on shirts. Elastic covered sheet is also used in several articles of clothing like shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, socks, athletic wear, swimsuits, shorts, medical and surgical garments. The stretch capability and recoverability in these clothes aids movements and make clothes last longer. .
