Apparel exports from Turkey increased by 4.6 per cent in the first eleven months of 2018, according to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute. From January to November 2018, Turkey exported apparel worth $14.200 billion, compared to exports of $13.546 billion clocked during the first eleven months of 2017, the data showed.Category-wise, exports of knitted and crocheted clothing and accessories (HS chapter 61) earned $8.389 billion during the eleven-month period, registering an increase of 3.8 per cent over exports of $8.085 billion during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Exports of non-knitted apparel and accessories (HS chapter 62) were valued at $5.811 billion, up 6.4 per cent from $5.461 billion exports made in the same period of 2017.
