Turkish manufacturer of high-quality apparel accessories Uludag Tekstil increased its production capacity by 30 per cent in the past two years and is planning to raise the same by 50 per cent in the next two years, according to general manager and owner Erdogan Uludag, who said the company does not expect any negative impact on its business due to Brexit.The company, which exports 30-35 per cent of its annual production, sees China as a competitor, but as Chinese manufacturers, being 7,000 km away from Turkey and 10,000 km away from European countries, have raised prices, its geographical position proves advantageous in delivery, Uludag told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
The company manufactures narrow-web woven products, polyester buttons and metal accessories for many international brands. (DS)
