On the other hand, there is a new circular holistic approach which showcases bio-based or bio-engineered materials, new alternative qualities and the revitalisation of recycling and post-consumer waste, said a press release from View Premium Selection.

Sustainability is set to reach an entirely new dimension. This has been determined through discussions about sustainability, conscious consumption, resource saving processes, efficiency and quality, with weaving mills and producers, dressmakers, design teams and buyers. An important part of this is the ubiquitous topic of digitising materials. Properly developed and established, it promises both more sustainable and more efficient process solutions across the entire value chain, especially in design.
