Among the new equipment being purchased for the facility are computerized cutting machines and ergonomically designed sewing machine workstations. The factory will make full use of the company's new Macola information-technology system, which will allow customers to track their orders through delivery.
“The San Luis Rio location was selected after months of research, in part because of its easy access to freeways and the quality of its workforce, which has undergone extensive training to ensure the highest quality workmanship,” noted Paul Buxbaum, chairman of Buxbaum Group. “Its proximity to Richter's headquarters and design studio in Los Angeles will facilitate fluid communication.”
Buxbaum Group had built its reputation for over 30 years as one of the largest liquidators and appraisers of retail and wholesale inventories, as well as machinery and industrial equipment, across North America.
