Nominees for Supima Denim Designer of year

The nominees were announced for the inaugural Supima Denim Designer of the Year Award at the 2007 Los Angeles Fashion Awards presented by Saturn.

The LA Fashion Awards nominating committee of more than 40 fashion editors, retailers, designers and industry organizers expert in the west coast marketplace made their recommendations to the ballot and then voted on their top picks.

Those selected represent the most impressive and consistent pursuit of excellence in design and production by a denim brand.

All five nominees will be showcased with both video and fashion presentations at the third annual LA Fashion Awards presented by Saturn on October 26 at the Orpheum Theatre. The winning designer or team will be announced live at the Awards event.

The nominees for the LA Fashion Awards 2007 Supima Denim Designer of the Year:
• 7 FOR ALL MANKIND, Tim Kaeding, creative director
• GOLDSIGN, Adriano Goldschmied, founder & designer
• J BRAND, Jeff Rudes and Susie Crippen, co-founders
• OLIGO TISSEW, Kristopher Enuke & Amy Enuke, co-owners
• PAIGE PREMIUM DENIM, Paige Adams-Geller, owner & designer

These nominees join an impressive roster of leading brands already announced for recognition at the 2007 LA Fashion Awards presented by Saturn. These are:
• Jasmin Shokrian - Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award Nominee
• Juan Carlos Obando - Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award Nominee
• Rami Kashou - Moss Adams Fashion Innovator Award Nominee
