Sri Lanka's Hela Clothing selects Attune for SAP business solution

Sri Lankan company, Hela Clothing, has partnered with Attune for the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA fashion and vertical business solution. The SAP platform will digitise end-to-end processes and support the company’s rapid growth. Hela Clothing is a leading $250 million company that provides sustainability-focused apparel supply chain solutions.

As a leading apparel solutions provider to global brands across intimates, kidswear, and sportswear, Hela has in recent years been investing in digitisation initiatives to strengthen its capabilities in order to innovate faster and better service global clients. The project implementation scope of SAP will include geographical coverage across it’s locations in the US, UK, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and Kenya, Attune said in a press release.

Over the next 16 months, Attune will assist Hela Clothing implement the Attune fashion suite, a pre-configured template built on the SAP S/4HANA fashion and vertical business solution. The Attune fashion suite includes proven industry best practices for contract manufacturing companies and helps to digitise the manufacturing process whilst integrating to third party applications, according to Attune.

Furthermore, to build on this solution in the future, Hela Clothing has signed up with Microsoft Azure for an enterprise agreement to implement the SAP S/4HANA landscape. In this instance, H-One, a fully owned subsidiary of Dialog, will provide the implementation support with the guidance of Microsoft together with their Fast Track programme. This will occur in a phased manner.

Having the right digital capabilities in place is integral to our business especially as brands demand greater transparency in their supply chains and rapidly evolving market conditions require real-time decisions. This is why we have set up a dedicated project office with a dedicated team to implement the SAP solution with the guidance and assistance from technology experts Attune,” Fernando said.
