Pirelli tyres launch fashionable trainers and jacket

A tyre brand, Pirelli, diversified its business eight years ago, by entering in to the fashion industry has therefore, recently, launched a range of fashionable shoes.
This Italy-based tyre producer has an aim of widening its PZero apparel and footwear brand, in to a complete fashion label. PZero depicts latest styles with contemporary materials.
After working in coordination with seven designers and three licensees, for the spring-summer 2011 season, Pirelli has introduced a sailing shoe, the Pirelli PZero Water and a jacket, the Pirelli PZero Air.
PZero range for spring 2011 further includes a wide range of shoes namely, the Rubber Racer. These shoes comprise of soles similar to the Pirelli tyre designs.
On the other hand, the I Cut Tube jacket is waterproof and can be custom-made by the wearer to fit his size.
As per Pirelli officials, consumers can self-tailor their jackets, by cutting-off the lengths of their I Cut trousers and the sleeves of the jackets, through a layer of rubber film, which prevents fraying. These jackets are sold with a pair of scissors.
Firms licensors are hoping to see launch of more goods under the PZero brand name, including bags and other limited-edition products.
