Xiaobo never thought that these jeans would become the first jeans to export to the US from Guangdong.
Now Guangdong has become an important manufacturing base for jeans in the world, with export quantity accounting for 60 percent of the country.
Export value of jeans of the company where Xiaobo worked for has already reached US $80 million annually.
The jean's style Xiaobo sold that year was simple, the material was very thin and in mostly seen navy blue, processed with simple water wash technique, but no shrink.
For that time it was a rare progress in Guangdong province and even in the whole country.
Xiaobo didn't wait for long.
The first day after the opening of the fair, the famous US buyer J.C.PENNY was satisfied with the new products when hearing this late material softer than others without shrinking, they immediately signed a contract with Xiaobo for 10,000 dozens of jeans.
Following J.C.PENNY, another buyer SEAS signed the second contract with Xiaobo. Thus the first batch of jeans from Guangdong successfully landed in the US.
