Nantong signs 1st certification program of e-textiles

Last week, Nantong Sidefu Textiles Decoration Co Ltd signed a contract of certification of China Quality environmental products' of ecological textiles with Nanjing branch of China Quality Certification Center. This is the first ecological textile certification program in the region by the centre.
Eco-certification for textiles was originated from Europe. China has formulated corresponding testing standards according to International Ecological Textile Research and Testing Association Oeko-Tex100 "Eco-textiles pass and special technical requirements”.
Ecological textile product certification will enable enterprises to use green textile materials, new types of dyes and technology, energy-efficient equipments, lower energy consumption and pollution charges, lead products smoothly remove "green trade barriers." Once enterprises pass through ecological textile product certification, their textiles will be authorized to put CQC ecological textile labels.
