Consumers in the country are more conscious now. They are now preferring clothes woven from Chinese fabrics as they are colourfull and cheaper than local stuff.
Shoppers are switching over to Chinese fabric as it sells quickly compared to local stuff.
According to officials, domestic manufactures should improve their competitiveness and Government is helping them to reduce costs and cutting interest on loans.
