CHIC 2007 concludes with great success

CHIC 2007, jointly organized by China National Garment Association, China World Trade Center Co Ltd and The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, closed with great success at China International Exhibition Center (CIEC), Beijing, on March 26, 2007. The show, again staged in two sessions, CHIC 2007 from March 18th-20th 2007 for Men • Casual • Accessories and CHIC 2007 from March 24th-26th 2007 for Women • Kids • Accessories, covered an exhibition space of 120,000 square meters and consisted of 18 product areas.

Over 1,000 exhibitors represented 17 countries and regions, that is, China (including Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan Province), Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, Turkey and USA.

The Session for Men • Casual • Accessories attracted 410 exhibitors who displayed Classic Men's Wear, Casual Wear, Sports Wear, Knit Wear, Jeans, Down Wear and Accessories and more than 54,000 trade visitors. Domestic brands are better developed with increasing input in creations. Men's clothing is obviously becoming casual and fashionable.

Changes with the exhibiting brands were noticeable in series and specialty, catching the immediate attention of the targeted trade visitors. Bosideng, for example, showed no only its major down wear, but other brands as well.
