Bahrain PM eulogizes Brazilian jewels at Jewellery Arabia

One of the company's partners, Maria Tereza Geo Rodrigues stated that the Jeweller Talento from the southeastern Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, for example, had already sold a pair of earrings two and a half hours after the fair had started. The fair is very busy; they didn't expect as many people as this.

She informed that this is the second time Talento participates at the fair. Maria Tereza bets on earrings in yellow gold and with Brazilian stones to please the Arab women. Their expectations are very high. As well as the earrings, the businesswomen took to the fair necklaces, rings and bracelets. The prices vary from US$ 160 to US$ 20,000.

According to Fattah, the most expected day of the fair is today, since the morning will be dedicated exclusively to women. It is the Ladies' Morning.

The fair, which is in its 14th edition, counts on a total of 500 exhibitors from 28 countries, installed in 14,000 squared metres this year. According to information from the organisation, more than 30,000 visitors are expected.

The total value of all the jewellery exhibited at the fair is US$ 1 billion. The English brand Graff, for example, is exhibiting a US$ 24 million necklace; another company took a 100 carat emerald worth US$ 17 million.

The Brazilian companies participating at the Jewellery Arabia are Vancox, Deca, Fiamma, as well as Talento. Deca is the only one that had never been to the fair, whereas Vancox, in turn, is participating for the 5th time.
