Armani, an Italian fashion group plans expansion in China by launching around 50 new retail stores and investing in other projects, Italian media informed on Thursday.
Speaking elaborately on company's plans, Giorgio Armani, group's Commercial Director John Hooks and Chief Financial Officer Paolo Fontanelli, said that company would take the present number of 35 stores to 75 in 12 Chinese cities by the end of this year.
It also has 28 sale points in large department stores.
Under this expansion policy, company will focus on the marketing of Emporio Armani and Armani Collezioni lines by forming joint ventures with Chinese business partners.
