"With Elizabeth in this newly created role, we will be able to raise our profile among our target audience of young and playful fashion seekers while introducing even more innovative and inspiring brand collaborations for our customers to enjoy," said Kenneth Landis, Chief Executive Officer, LeSportsac.
"We are thrilled to be able to work with Elizabeth as we continue to bolster our profile as a key player in the industry. Her reputation and credibility as one of the most respected and knowledgeable fashion authorities is virtually invaluable."
LeSportsac also announces it is developing an aggressive national expansion strategy that will add at least two additional stand alone retail locations this year and at least four next year. The expansion incorporates adding many more national department stores to LeSportsac's retail roster, making it easier for LeSportsac's dedicated customers to shop for their favorite bags and accessories.
Founded in 1974, New York-based LeSportsac revolutionized the accessories industry with the introduction of ripstop nylon bags and luggage.
