Carmichael House opens biggest home textile store

Carmichael House, the premium home textile brand from S. Kumar's Nationwide Limited opened the Biggest home textile store of the country in Pune.
The store was inaugurated by Aloke Banerjee, CEO Home Textile Expression at the ICC. The store is spread over an area of 2800 Sq Feet.
Speaking at the launch, Aloke Banerjee said “Exclusive Brand Outlets such as these are increasingly finding favor with consumers as they showcase the product and build lifestyle associations.These international style stores enhance the shopping experience for the consumer.”
He added, “Carmichael House is a lifestyle brand that has signed on Sushmita Sen as its brand ambassador. The brand partners the modern homemakers make a personality statement about her home”.
Talking about the range of products being offered, he said, “Carmichael House will offer a wide range of home textile material – bed & bath linen, kitchen & table linen, curtains and upholstery for homes. The products will be priced at Premium, Mid and economy range.”
Carmichael House is pursuing an aggressive plan of opening stores and strengthening its distribution. It plans to open over a 100 stores within 100 days. Carmichael House was launched nationally at a glittering show in Mumbai on August 2, 2006.
The launch was marked with a gigantic product display covering over 12000 sq ft and a glittering fashion exposition. The launch was a grand success with an overwhelming response in bookings from our trade partners.
