Fur Free Retailers schemes have been signed by high street stores Marks & Spencer and Topshop.
Respect for Animals launched the scheme on September, 28 and it gives buyers the confidence to buy commodities as they do not use or sell real fur.
Sustainable Development Manager at Marks & Spencer, Katie Stafford said that welfare of animals is something they and their customers are ardent about.
Topshop Buying Director, Karyn Fenn also echoed the same voice saying that their company was happy to sign the initiative as they have long-standing anti-fur policy.
