TOUR360 II shoe with improved performance features

Last year adidas Golf launched the Tour 360, a golf shoe whose blend of performance, comfort and style made it an overnight sensation among tour professionals and consumers, making it the most popular style of adidas Golf footwear ever.

The Tour 360 also garnered the prestigious ispovision Global SportStyle Award for Men's Footwear of the Year 2005 – significant in that the award category was not limited to golf-specific footwear and included all types of sport footwear. The overwhelming success of the Tour 360 was instrumental to adidas Golf rising to the No. 2 position in Global Market share, a first in company history.

“The performance advancements to the TOUR360 II are the result of feedback from our Tour athletes and our Home Pro staff,” says Dave Ortley, director of global footwear for adidas Golf.

“The TOUR360 II is fully loaded, complete with eight distinct technologies designed to deliver a level of performance never before available in the sport of golf. It was a distinct challenge to improve on our most technological and commercially successful product to date, but our design engineers have pulled it off.”

Performance technologies incorporated into the TOUR360 II include:

- 360WRAP+, an improvement over the 360WRAP technology in the Tour 360: The 360WRAP+ features an “articulated” midfoot support system which completely surrounds the foot, hugging every contour of the instep/outstep to keep the foot rock-solid and centered over the base.
