Jerry Hemphill to manage R.G. Barry's Terrasoles brand

R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, named veteran footwear Executive Jerry Hemphill brand President for its Terrasoles line of footwear.
Hemphill most recently was National Sales Manager for Softwalk Shoes at the Phoenix Footwear Group.
Prior to that, he was national key account manager for Easy Spirit Shoes, a division of the Jones Apparel Group Inc.
“We are pleased that Jerry is joining our team, and we believe that his experience and knowledge will be valuable assets in making the Terrasoles project a success,” said Thomas JZ Konecki, R.G. Barry's Senior Vice President Sales and Business Development.
The Company plans to launch the Terrasoles brand for fall 2007. Terrasoles is a hybrid accessory footwear line that combines proprietary technologies with state-of-the-art materials to create unique products that set the bar for comfortable “après anything” footwear.
Terrasoles will be sold through full-price independent shoe and specialty stores, catalogs and Internet merchants.
