QVC celebrates 20th birthday on Black Friday

On one of the busiest shopping days of the year, QVC, known as the ultimate shopping destination, turns 20. Since taking its first order on November 24, 1986, the company has shipped close to a billion packages to more than 35 million customers.

To celebrate its birthday, QVC will feature unprecedented offers on 20 brand-new products, and every show will have at least one surprise.

Several well-known on-air guests are slated to help celebrate, including Michael Dawkins, Kathy Van Zeeland, Judith Ripka, Dennis Basso, Valerie Parr Hill, Laura Geller, Bradley Bayou and Dana Buchman.

Items expected to be hot sellers include Dennis Basso faux mink throw; philosophy four-piece holiday house consisting of eggnog shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath, cinnamon buns moisturizing body souffle, powdered sugar cookie high gloss lip shine and lemon custard hand cream ; Honora cultured freshwater pearl sterling three- piece wardrobe set; and Cook's Essentials stainless steel, non-stick, eight-piece cookware set.
