R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, has received three silver awards for creative excellence from the 2006 Davey Awards competition conducted by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).
The awards were presented for the company's Fall 2006 Print Ad Campaign, Fall/Winter 2006 Dearfoams Look Book and 2006 Dearfoams Sales/Press Kit.
“We are pleased to have been selected for these honors,” said Karen Jacobs, Director of Marketing for the Dearfoams company.
“Our marketing, visual and communications teams collaborated to create a strong, consistent brand message through inviting layouts with the perfect balance of pertinent copy. It is very rewarding to have our work recognized by some of the world's most acclaimed advertising and creative minds.”
With more than 3,500 entries from around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from small design firms, advertising agencies and consumer products companies.
The awards exclusively honor creative efforts that derive their strength from ideas and execution, rather than large budgets.
The awards are overseen, judged and presented by the IAVA, an organization of leading professionals from various arts disciplines, whose membership includes: Yahoo!, Estee Lauder, Wired, Bath & Body Works, Brandweek, Polo Ralph Lauren, ADWEEK, Coach, MTV, Victoria's Secret, HBO, The Ellen Degeneres Show and Myspace.
