Over the last two years Sandwich has constantly appeared as one of the top two selling brands in the “Drapers” Indicator surveys and in issue 13 January 2007, as number one contemporary womenswear brand. Although primarily in the contemporary fashion category they have also featured as a newcomer in the top ten “young jeanswear” section. Sandwich remains a very commercial brand within a diverse retail market.
This diversity is also apparent on a Global basis as the brand is now selling in 21 countries and has a group turnover of 100,000,000 Euro.
In order to support its' growing market, the company is presently building its own production facility, employing over 2000 personnel to fully control the quality of its products. There are also plans to introduce the brand to Russia and Australia, whilst development into the Asian retail market sector remains on going.
Sandwich Fall 07 shows a new direction by offering less detailed but cleaner visuals. New yarns are also featured along with a soft pastel colour palette to compliment the more muted colours of skirts and trousers. Femininity is a strong theme throughout the new Sandwich range.
