Net sales soar at Columbus-based branded footwear specialty retailer

DSW Inc reported net sales for the fourteen-week fourth quarter ended February 3, 2007 increased 16% to $329.1 million compared with $283.8 million for the thirteen-week fourth quarter ended January 28, 2006.
On a comparable thirteen-week basis, same store sales increased 1.0% versus an increase of 11.3% for the same period last year.
Net sales for the fifty-three week fiscal year ended February 3, 2007 increased 12% to $1.28 billion compared with $1.14 billion for the fifty-two week fiscal year ended January 28, 2006.
On a comparable 52-week basis, same store sales increased 2.5% versus an increase of 5.4% for the same period last year.
