Gitanjali Gems to foray into luxury retail market

Gitanjali Gems Ltd has announced Company Group's intention to expand into luxury retail market through the launch of 'Luxury Connexions (Lx) and Luxury Malls'.
This will involve an investment of Rs100 Crores for over 36 months to establish luxury malls across the country.
Plans are also afoot to acquire international brands to be sold through "Luxury Connexions (Lx)" outlets.
Luxury Connexions (Lx) is a part of Company's Group to interact between increasing Luxury Business in India and International Brands entering country to promote Luxury Retail Market in India.
Luxury Malls will be established in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Chandigarh and Chennai.
These Malls would stock all Global Brands of World Class Fashion stores, International Jewellery Brands, wedding stores encompassing Designer Products.
