dELiA*s Inc announced that Chris DiChiaro joined the Company as Divisional Merchandise Manager of Alloy. The Company also announced the appointment of Lee Bissonnette as Sr. Director of e-Commerce.
Mr. DiChiaro joined the Company on September 10, 2007, and reports to Robert Bernard, Chief Executive Officer. Mr. DiChiaro is responsible for merchandising the Alloy catalog and web. Prior to joining dELiA*s, Mr. DiChiaro was with Victoria's Secret Direct for 7 years, most recently as Vice President - Merchandising of Intimate Apparel (Sleepwear, PINK, and Body By Victoria and Cotton Foundations).
Prior to Victoria's Secret Direct, from 1994 through 2000, Mr. DiChiaro served with Lord & Taylor as a merchant in various categories, including women's casual sportswear.
Mr. Bissonnette, who also joined the Company on September 10, 2007, reports to Walter Killough, Chief Operating Officer, and is responsible for leading the e-Commerce strategy and marketing for the Alloy, CCS and dELiA*s brands. Prior to joining dELiA*s, Mr. Bissonnette served as Operating Vice-President of E-Commerce & Internet Strategy at Bloomingdale's.
Prior to this, he served as Director of Digital Products at Wicks, a leading fashion eyewear company. From 2000 through 2004, Mr. Bissonnette served as Director of Operations at Macy's and was responsible for a business segment comprised of third-party store-within-a-store operators in over 350 doors.
