The Athlete's Foot (TAF) announced that Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley, Eagles wide receiver Reggie Brown, Texans running back Ahman Green and Lions quarterback Jon Kitna have joined the roster of pro athletes participating in the company's "In My Shoes" campaign.
The athletes will make personal appearances at TAF locations in markets around the country, signing autographs for the public and presenting prizes to regional winners of the "In My Shoes" contest, which rewards young student athletes (ages 13-18) for setting goals for the new school year.
Other participating athletes, previously announced, include: • Redskins running back Clinton Portis • Carolina Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward • Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle • New York Knicks forward David Lee • Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn
"TAF is dedicated to inspiring and enabling peak performance from our shoppers, including student athletes who are starting a new school year with ambitious goals in mind," commented Robert W. D'Loren, President and CEO of NexCen Brands Inc.
"TAF encourages these everyday athletes to aspire, achieve and excel and is proud to be working with pros who may serve as inspiration to them. These outstanding professionals were selected to participate in the program because of their sporting achievements and their prominence in local communities served by our nationwide network of TAF stores," added Mr. D'Loren.
