Dussault Apparel announces receipt of $2.2 mn in funding

Dussault Apparel Inc announced the receipt of just over $2.2 million, the first installment of the Company's $5.0 million financing agreement with a private investment group.
On July 19th, 2007, The Company announced completion of the agreement for a private placement of up to $5.0 million in funding.
The securities offered in the private placement to the investors and the placement agent were not registered under the Securities Act of 1933 as amended (Act), and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration, or an applicable exemption from registration, under the Act.
The Company is using the proceeds to fund several projects including: completion of its acquisition of the private company Dussault Jeans Inc, the opening of the Company's flagship store on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles, CA, growing market share and building the Company's emerging brand recognition.
