Ms. Boswell to oversee Alberto-Culver global brands

The Alberto-Culver Company has appointed Gina Boswell President of Global Brands. Reporting to V. James Marino, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Boswell will oversee global brands such as Alberto V05, TRESemme, St. Ives and Nexxus, research and development, and consumer insights.
Gina comes to Alberto-Culver with over ten years of experience in the beauty products industry, including executive positions at Avon Products Inc, where she most recently served as senior vice president and chief operating officer for Avon North America. At Avon, Ms. Boswell was responsible for multiple international markets, online brand development, operational restructuring and creating strategic alliances.
Prior to Avon, Gina was an executive with the Ford Motor Company where she helped lead global strategy and previously ran their vehicle personalization business. Ms. Boswell has also worked with The Estee Lauder Companies as vice president of new business development, managing mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Boswell holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, summa cum laude, from Boston University and a master's degree from the Yale School of Management. Ms. Boswell also currently serves on the board of directors for Manpower Inc.
