Payless ShoeSource rolls out designer footwear collection

Leading footwear retailer Payless ShoeSource has united with designer Laura Poretzky to create the Abaete(TM) for Payless(R) collection. This first-ever Payless Designer Collection will make its debut at New York Fashion Week at Poretzky's Abaete runway show at Bryant Park.

Payless' presence at fashion's most prestigious event is part of its plan to democratize fashion by delivering on-trend footwear and accessories to consumers at an affordable price. The Abaete by Laura Poretzky show featuring Abaete for Payless footwear is tomorrow at 9 pm at Bryant Park.

Inspired by Laura Poretzky's signature sophisticated sexy style and designed to complement her Fall/Winter '06 ready to wear collection, the Abaete for Payless runway shoes includes four styles -- the 'Sky' boot, 'Casey' flat, 'Oliver' pump and the 'Luke' evening sandal. Each silhouette features a range of colors, fabrics and details such as stitching, polka dots, and bows designed to enhance the Abaete Fall/Winter '06 apparel collection.
