Indian fashion lingerie brand Pretty Secrets plans to more than double its offline retail distribution to 60 exclusive stores and over 600 retail counters by the end of 2018, according to founder-CEO Karan Behal. After starting out as an online brand in 2012, the company entered offline retail last year. It has 23 exclusive brand outlets in India at present.

The brand now sells through six distributers in about 250 retail counters and is exploring seven more distributors, which will raise its total retail counter distribution to over 600, a news agency report quoted Behal as saying. The company is exploring debt options now for expansion.

PrettySecrets has raised Rs 55 crore in multiple rounds of private equity investment from several investors and is likely to break even by October.

The brand also sells its products on e-commerce websites of UAE and South East Asia, Souq.com and Lazada.com respectively, and may look at overseas foray this year. (DS)
