A second round of designers were recently added to ‘Common Threads: Vogue x Amazon Fashion’, an online digital store front created by the two companies and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to help connect designers directly with consumers. The primary goal of the store is to provide another avenue for designers to generate income during the pandemic.

Vogue and CFDA first responded to the crisis in April by launching A Common Thread, a fundraising and storytelling initiative supporting those in the industry affected by the pandemic. Its mission was to support small and medium US fashion businesses with micro grants.

Given the pandemic, there’s less foot traffic into department stores or individual boutiques. Each designer included in the storefront can set his own prices and choose his own edit of apparel and accessories, available for all Amazon customers to shop, Vogue reported.

Batsheva, Chloe Gosselin, Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Jonathan Cohen, Tabitha Simmons, Alejandra Alonso Rojas, and Victor Glemaud are among those featured. They are joined by Anna Sui, Cushnie, Lemlem, Thakoon, Billy Reid, Colovos, Marina Moscone, ARoss Girl, Deveaux, and Bonnie Young.
