In its very first edition, Blossom Première Vision hosted 60 international weavers and four accessory manufacturers from nine countries showcasing their collections.

There were 30 exhibitors from Italy, 17 from France, nine from Japan, two each from UK and Turkey and one each from Austria, South Korea, Spain and Portugal.

861 visitors from creative fashion and luxury houses came to source new product developments and the latest fabric and colour innovations to build their very first collections for A/W 2017-18.

The French made up for 86 per cent of visitors, followed by 3.5 per cent from UK, 2.5 per cent from Italy, 2 per cent from Japan and 1 per cent from the US.

“For these demanding fashion companies, Blossom Première Vision skillfully assembled all the key ingredients expected of such an appointment,” the organiser said.

The organiser further said that the dates were ideally suited to the pre-collections calendar and the event served as a complement to the Première Vision Paris shows to be held in September.

For its second edition to be held December 13-14, 2016, Blossom Première Vision will round out its fabrics and accessories offer with a selective range of leathers. (AR)
