Adirée is pleased to announce that Funlayo Deri will charm the runway at Africa Fashion Week (New York) (AFWNY). AFWNY is set to take place on July 14th, 15th and 16th at the Broad Street Ballroom in New York City's financial district.

The Funlayo Deri woman is confident, sophisticated, with refined taste. Deri's aesthetic is influenced by her cultural experiences and exposure. She believes that clothes should be glamorous but not taken excessively serious. Her pieces are luxurious and wearable while celebrating the female form and emphasizing curves.

“I own a dress from Funlayo Deri. She pays attentions to the needs of a woman's body.”- Adiat Disu, director of AFWNY

Funlayo Deri's collection will showcase Saturday, July 16th.

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designer Korto Momolu and designers like Washington Roberts, Saint Wobil, AAMAA Couture, Bill Witherspoon and others will showcase.
