American singer-songwriter Beth Ditto, known for being the frontwoman with the indie rock band Gossip, is planning to launch her own signature plus-size clothing line.
In 2009 and 2010, the rocker collaborated with UK plus-size retailer Evans to create an apparel line that blended 1940s-inspired pieces with 1980s punk styles.
The new fashion line would be the IKEA of clothes for fat girls and boys, according to Beth.
The fat activist wants the new apparel line to be cost-effective and ethically made.
The style icon also intends to open a premium online vintage store in near future. The vintage outlet would enable shoppers to see how costumes would look on them.
