Lingerie event SIL to take place in February 2006

French underwear exhibition, the Salon International de la Lingerie (SIL), has been scheduled for two consecutive week days and an entire weekend in 2006.

The Salon International de la Lingerie, the leading industry event with more than 550 brands from 26 countries and 24 009 visitors in 2005, will be celebrating very aspect of the world of lingerie. It will take place from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th February 2006.

Reflecting the different market segment, the show is divided into product families: Foundation Garment, Homewear, Men's underwear, Young Fashion, Hosiery, Beachwear etc.

In 2006, in response to brands' demands and with the aim of developing visitor reception, the Salon International de la Lingerie will be:

• Reversing the Interfilière and Salon International de la Lingerie layout in Hall 1.
• Expanding into Hall 2.2, where visitors will find: Fashion events with the general Fashion Show and the Art and Lingerie area, and a business and reception area with the Gold Club, Trends conference room.

This year, the Salon International de la Lingerie will surprise visitors with a unique event and magic evening called 'The Ultra Lingerie Fashion Show', which will take place in opening of the fair the Thursday 2nd February.

The Salon International de la LINGERIE and its finished products, INTERFILIÈRE and its fibres, fabrics and accessories, an outstanding combination which represents one of the special features of the event and one of its greatest assets: the bringing together of all the professions from the same industry in the same place, for closer monitoring of the thread of trends and pinpointing the changes in this industry.
