Two fashion shoots come alive at Wesley Quarter

Wesley Quarter combines a unique blend of boutique outlets and luxury fashion destinations with fine dining and live entertainment, and this Friday 21 September it plays host to two live fashion shoots as part of this year’s exciting Perth Fashion Festival. This free to the public event takes place on Friday afternoon, first at 1:30pm and then again at 4:00pm, allowing Perth’s fashion and photography loving public to take part in this unique ‘sneak peak’ opportunity.

Sure to attract big crowds in any case, the need to get down nice and early has increased dramatically as the shoot will feature Perth raised international modelling superstar Fabienne Vanderhaeghen, herself a former ‘Face of the Festival’ in 2007.

Joining her will be one lucky up and coming local male model and together they will showcase the latest Spring/Summer fashions selected exclusively from Wesley Quarter’s collection of ultra-cool stores. Outfits for the shoot will be selected and styled by STM Fashion Editor and local style guru Claire Davies, who will also be providing the crowd with insights and hot tips behind the styling choices as the shoot progresses. With an array of stores to choose clothes and accessories from including Emporio Armani, Burberry, Alannah Hill, Jan Logan, G-Star Raw and Industrie to name just a few, Claire will be having as much fun as a kid in a candy store!

Hair and make-up showcasing the hottest trends for Summer 2012/13 will be created and styled by the team from official PFF partners, L’Oreal and M.A.C cosmetics.

If that wasn’t enough, Perth’s own leading fashion photographer Chantel Concei will take the lead role behind the lens and the audience will be treated to seeing the key shots as they’re snapped and displayed on two large screens. Accompanied by a live DJ setting the mood, an exclusive VIP area will also be in action at The Quarter on Hay Restaurant & Wine Bar. Hosted by Perth Fashion Festival, invited guests will be treated to beverages and canapés while they watch the models bring the fashion to life at this unique event.

Plus, one lucky shopper at Wesley Quarter over the weekend will WIN BIG! All purchases made at any of Wesley Quarter’s 17 fashion stores will enter them into the draw to win a shopping spree at the Centre, including their own personal stylist for the day and lunch at The Quarter on Hay. Total value of the prize is a whopping $5,000!
