Brazilian cos at Colombiatex, largest fabrics fair

Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association informed that Brazil presented at Colombiatex.
Colombiatex is the largest fabrics fair in Latin America. The fair began at the International Convention Center in Medelín.
Eighteen years ago, this fair occupied 1482 square meters for 73 exhibiters and received around four thousand visitors of which only four were international buyers. Today, Colombiatex has 8500 square meters for 429 exhibiters, receiving nearly 8 thousand visitors, including 1350 buyers from more than 20 different countries.
ABIT began to organize the participation of Brazilian companies in 2004, with the support of Apex-Brasil, and Brazil has been growing in the event because the fair has proven to be an excellent forum for business, not only to reach the Colombian apparel market, but also for contacts in Central America and the USA.
Twenty Brazilian companies are participating in this edition (Branyl, Cataguases, Cedro, Covolan Jeanswear, Fábrica de Tecidos Renaux, Horizonte Textil, Linhas Setta, Malhas Teda, Manufatora, Paramount Têxteis, PH Fit, Salotex, Santanense, Santista Textil, Suave/Cordoroy, Hudtelfa, Terlizzi, Textil Renaux, Vicunha and Zanotti). They are spread over five pavilions according to their segmentation. ABIT also has an institutional stand to attend to exhibiters for all their needs, as well as pass on information about the Brazilian textile chain for buyers and the press.
