Fashionable footwear representative Wortmann KG launches fashion and footwear collection for Spring/Summer 2006.
Natural Feeling : Fashion :
Opulence, kuster an glamour have given way to a more natural and very laid back look that is embodied by the universally gratifying simplicity of lines, cottons and handcrafted-looking detail.
The glitter of semiprecious stones and the sheen of silk have been supplanted by quintessential natural elements using crinkled or crushed fabrics, and accessories with crocheted, knotted or plaited detailing.
The whole look is somewhat more spartan and restrained, and diamante decoration has given way to coral, shells or wooden beads. Natural, not sexy, is the watchword here.
Footwear :
This summer's theme of naturalness is realized using linen and canvas as a shaft material or heel covering, plus plaited material and supple leathers. Handcrafted-looking decorative seams, stitched edges, decorative elements, narrow interwoven elements and patinaed metallic embelishment provide added visual appeal.
