Planet Sports to be 'Planet Retail Holdings' with stylistic logo

Sports lifestyle company Planet Sports Pvt Ltd announced a new Corporate Identity. It will now be called Planet Retail Holdings Pvt Ltd instead of Planet Sports Pvt Ltd.
The strategic decision of re-branding itself as Planet Retail Holdings will enable the company better communicate the breadth and depth of options offered by it in the segment of retailing.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arun Bhardwaj, Managing Director, Planet Retail Holdings Pvt Ltd, said, “Our offerings have been accepted very well in the Indian market with all the international concept stores attracting exceptional business and consumers. With the new identity in place, we look forward to offer much more to India in the near future”.
Sharing information on the business groups under the umbrella of Planet Retail, Mr. Arun Bhardwaj said, “We are offering Planet Sports, Sports Warehouse and 'The Athlete's Foot' under the sports lifestyle segment.”
“In Fashion/ Lifestyle retailing segment we bring to India such famous stores as Marks & Spencer, Guess, Next and Women's Secret. Through Debenhams we will be foraying into Department stores” and very soon with the launch of The Body Shop we will enter the Health and Beauty segment.
