Provogue to expand with 6 Megastores & 100 other stores

Provogue has plans to open six Megastores in metropolises by end of the year.

The first outlet of 7,000 sq ft size estimated at Rs 1 crore, will come up in Kolkata by August.

Nikhil Chaturvedi, Managing Director, Provogue, informed that the exclusive brand stores will also be opened in Delhi and Bangalore along with Kolkata having complete stocks of product line.

Besides Megastores, another 100 stores are planned to be opened by end of the year, of which 25-30 would be opened in metros and others in B-class cities such as Agra, Raipur and Kolhapur due to good response received in those cities.

These cities have proved to be very attractive due to parity in rent-earnings ratio and sales, said Chaturvedi.

Provogue is expanding its range of accessories by introducing innerwear and personal care products for men, later this year.

The company has tied up with Delhi-based M&B Footwear to introduce new footwear range.

Provogue is coming out with denim and T-shirts in apparel segment this season, informed Chaturvedi.

Denying Provogue's entry in accessories for women, he stated that the company will focus on brand building and consolidation.
