Numero Uno to foray into North India

Denim wear major Numero Uno, well-known brand of Hi Fashion Clothing Co, plans to expand its presence in north India.
It plans to have shelf space in leading malls and open exclusive Numero Uno outlets.
VY Masih, Marketing Manager, Hi Fashion Clothing, said plans are afoot to open 10 Numero Uno outlets in Punjab by year end.
With in a month outlets are coming up in Patiala, followed by Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Mohali and Panchkula, said Masih.
The company plans to have outlets in north-east and southern India in Chennai, Cochin and Coimbatore.
The outlets with a carpet area from 450 sq ft to 1500 sq feet will store entire Numero Uno range, from jeans to non-denims, troopers, capris, T-shirts, sweat shirts and accessories for both men and women, said Masih.
Lifetsyle, Shoppers Stop and Ebony along with more than 600 multi-brand outlets across the country stock Numero Uno collections.
Masih informed that company in a bid to diversify intends to add eye-wear to its products and is having consultations with leading international companies.
Slippers have been launched in footwear segment with plans to add sports shoes soon.
The company plans to stage a Numero Uno rock music event in Chandigarh to create brand awareness among the youth.
